The Story

Dr. Jeff Trembley never followed the traditional blueprint for dentistry. His path to Smile On Nashville started on a runway, sprinting down a track with a fiberglass pole in hand.

Before dentistry, Dr. Trembley was a collegiate pole vaulter and team captain for the University of Tennessee Track and Field team. He developed an obsession with precision, discipline, and performance that still defines his work today. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology before spending two years teaching 7th grade science and coaching pole vault at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville. In his final season coaching, one of his athletes broke the Tennessee state record at the state championship meet, still one of his proudest accomplishments outside of dentistry.

Then came an unexpected turn. Dr. Trembley attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, graduating in 2013. But he never approached dentistry like a conventional clinician. While many practices focus on scaling volume and building large hygiene systems, he built Smile On Nashville differently, around artistry, aesthetics, photography, and transformational cosmetic work.

That creative identity is visible everywhere inside Smile On Nashville. The studio lighting. The photography walls. The before-and-after transformations. The obsessive attention to shape, symmetry, texture, and expression. His work blends clinical precision with artistic instinct, and it draws patients from across the country who are looking for more than routine dentistry. They are looking for a cosmetic eye.

Founded in 2017, Smile On Nashville was intentionally designed to be the opposite of a corporate chain. It has one owner, one vision, and one standard.

A boutique practice built around mastery rather than mass production. Today, Dr. Trembley continues to lecture, teach, photograph, design smiles, and push dentistry into spaces that feel more creative, personal, and human. His French Bulldog Peewee works here too, sitting with patients and calming nerves, and you can meet him on the practice page.

Outside the office, Dr. Trembley is a father to Palmer and Banks, roles he considers more important than any professional title.
